Blue Jay 5K Chocolate Run

We are pleased to announce that the 2nd Annual Blue Jay 5K Chocolate Fun Run/Walk is on Sunday, October 19th, 2014 at 1:30pm. The race will take place at Elizabethtown College on Homecoming Weekend. We hope to attract both alumni, students, and local runners in South Central PA. Proceeds benefit the Elizabethtown College Track & Field and Women’s Soccer Teams.

Medals & Prizes will be awarded to overall male and female winner. Top Runners in each age group will also be awarded with medals. There will be delicious chocolate treats for all participants to enjoy at the finish line.

A New Tradition for E-town College Alumni & Students:
In honor of the Elizabethtown College Homecoming Weekend, we are starting a Race Day Competition between Alumni and Students. Top male & female runners – Alumni or Students – will have their names featured on the Blue Jay 5K plaque. This competition will repeat annually.

Last Year’s 5K was a Success
We had a nice turnout for our first Blue Jay 5K. Our top finisher was running local, Mike Spooner at 16:49:5 (5:34 Mile).
